Climate Change

“Our world needs climate action on all fronts: everything, everywhere, all at once.”
UN secretary general, António Guterres

HelpING YOU TO REDUCE YOUR CARBON EMISSIONS WHILST ALSO SAVING MONEY

This forthcoming book (due September 2025) is Beyond Logic Consulting's response to climate change. It is designed to empower you to make changes which fit into your lifestyle whilst having genuine impact.
The book has chapters covering:
  • where emissions come from and what generates the most carbon
  • what you can do to make a difference (and what's stopping you)
  • practical actions you can take to reduce your energy use
  • what you can do to reduce your water use
  • what organisations can do to reduce their "scope 3" emissions
  • a review of the evidence concerning what works to change climate related behaviour.
A key feature of the book is that it tells you the amount of carbon different behaviours generate and the amount you can save by taking positive action - this helps you decide what to focus your efforts on. To make this easier it uses a "Jeans scale" based on the carbon emissions generated by producing a pair of jeans. So you'll find out how many pairs of jeans worth of carbon you're saving by taking your chosen actions.
